PDFHill
Privacy & File Safety
PDFHill is built to be clear about where your files are processed and how long they are kept.
Browser-based tools
Most PDFHill utilities process your document locally in your web browser. The file is not uploaded to PDFHill servers for those tasks. Your browser may download JavaScript libraries (such as PDF.js) needed to read and modify PDFs.
Server-assisted tools
Some conversions—currently PDF to Word—require server processing because the output format needs backend engines. These tools state that clearly before upload. Files are encrypted in transit and scheduled for automatic deletion after processing, normally within two hours.
Your responsibility
- Do not upload documents you are not allowed to share
- Log out of shared or public computers after use
- Use Protect PDF before sending confidential files when appropriate
- Keep your own backups of important originals
No watermark policy
PDFHill does not add watermarks or branding to your downloaded files. The output is yours to use according to applicable laws and your own document rights.
